• According to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), 12 out of 10,000 are homeless in Texas
  • There are close to 4000 homeless in Houston
  • Another 1,525 people in Harris County Jail reported that they had been homeless
  • Number of homeless kids doubled in Houston in the recent past


This is the list of the items that we are requesting you to donate:

  • Toothpaste
  • Toothbrush
  • Soap, Shampoo Deodorant
  • New Socks
  • Diapers
  • Baby Wipes
  • Sanitary Napkins
  • Lotion
  • Shaving Cream
  • Wash Cloths
  • Combs, Brushes
  • Towels
  • Warm winter clothing and bedding (blankets, sheets, and sleeping bags)
  • Jackets and Sweaters
  • Hoodies

We will create blessing bags using the donated items and distribute it the homeless people.

This is an exciting opportunity for us as a church to go out and make a difference in the lives of others. We have sign-up sheets for volunteers as well as clothing donations. A booth for sign up and donations is set up in the church lobby. Please come and join us in this endeavor. Q: I would like to volunteer in January for distribution to the homeless

A: We would love to have you. Please contact the sign up desk in the lobby.

Q: Can I give cash?

A: We do accept cash and it will be used to buy essentials for the homeless.

Q: Should I pack a bag of toiletries, or can I bring any item?

A: We will pack them for you. You can several of the above items or just one item.

Q: What are the kind of clothes that I can donate?

A: The need is for Jackets, sweaters, hoodies, blankets, and also sleeping bags. New Socks, Knit gloves and caps are also in high demand due to the weather.
