Rev. Shaji Daniel was born and raised in Kerala, India. His parents (late) Rev. & Mrs. K. C. Daniel served the Lord in pastoral ministry for fifty-five years before they went to be with the Lord. Pastor says, his parent’s deep faith in the Lord, commitment to serve others, leadership, responsibility, honesty and people oriented ministry, despite many struggles and adversities, encouraged him to serve the Lord all these years in various parts of the world.
Rev. Shaji was brought up in a very strict religious environment. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior in 1979 and accepted the commandment of water baptism in 1982. In 1986, responding to God’s call, Pastor Shaji dedicated his life for full time ministry and joined Faith Theological Seminary, Kerala, India for his Bachelors in Theology. Since then the Lord has been using Pastor Daniel in various ways in His vineyard as Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. God used him as a Pastor of Indian Pentecostal Churches in India, Kuwait and USA for over fifteen years. He served the Lord in North India for almost seven years as a Lecturer at New Theological College, Dehradun.
Rev. Shaji holds B. Th., B.D., and M. Th. degrees from Serampore University, India and M.Ed. in professional counseling from University of Houston-Victoria. He is a State of Texas Licensed Professional Counselor. He is currently enrolled for his Ph.D. in counseling at the University of Cumberlands, KY. His wife, Mercy, a Family Nurse Practitioner by profession, is a great strength and support to his ministry. They are blessed with two children – Luke and Lydia and currently resides in Pearland, TX.
Rev. Sam T. Varughese was born and raised in Kuwait, where his parents (Rev. T.E. Varughese & Joyamma Varughese) had been working for several years. His childhood has been a testimony of several miraculous healings, which were instrumental in his salvific experience in Christ Jesus. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 7 and was later baptized at the age of 12. He moved to Kerala along with his parents in response to a call to full time ministry that his parents received. God blessed Sam to minister through music, leading worship, preaching, and through literary works at a very young age.
At age 15, he dedicated his life to serve the Lord and commit to ministry. He holds a B.A degree from Fatima Mata National College in Kollam. He commenced his theological training at India Bible Seminary in Kumbanad.
Rev. Sam is an ordained minister through the Indian Pentecostal Church of God and also an active member of the Association of Professional Chaplains. He is passionate about discipleship, mentoring and shaping a generation to serve the Lord in a diverse and changing culture.
